Question:
I am wanting to use this device to charge a single battery in a 16foot enclosed trailer. I am wondering if I hook the RED to the constant hot of the trailer wire harness/plug, and then hook up the RED and BLACK to the battery in the trailer, if this will charge the battery in the trailer, via the trailer plug being plugged into the tow vehiclemy truck?

Hey Luke! Yes, you can connect the Blue Ox Towed Vehicle Battery Charge Line Wiring Harness # BLU44ER to your 7-way and run it to the battery to keep it charged. It is exactly the same as using it to maintain the battery on a vehicle when flat towing.
Keep in mind, this kit and other charge lines won't actually charge the battery, it is a maintenance charge to keep it topped off. If you need to actually charge it from your vehicle you need something like the Redarc In-Vehicle BCDC Trailer Battery Charger # RED36TR instead.

Hey Luke, how did things go with the Blue Ox charge line on your trailer battery? Did it keep the battery topped off the way you needed, or did you end up going with the Redarc charger instead? Your update could make it easier for others setting up a similar trailer system.
