Question:
Can I use the PowerMax PM44VR 60 amp converter to replace the converter inside my RV power center?

Hey Kevin, thanks for asking. The PowerMax Converter rated for 60A output # PM44VR is a standalone converter, not a direct replacement for the converter section inside a power center.
If your power center has a built-in converter, that internal converter would need to be disabled or disconnected, and then the # PM44VR would be wired to feed the DC side of the system instead. It’s not designed to slide into a power center housing or replace a converter board.
This setup is actually pretty common when the factory converter isn’t lithium-friendly or can’t be replaced on its own - it just takes a little planning. If you know the brand and model of your power center, feel free to share it and we can talk through whether that approach makes sense for your setup. We may also have a direct replacement depending on what you have.
