This replacement dome assembly swaps out old, cracked, or leaky vent covers to get your roof vent sealed up again. It’s wedge-shaped and measures 14" x 14", made to directly replace the lid on Ventline Ventadome roof vent models V2092, V2094, V2119, and V2128. Once installed, it sits cleanly on the vent body and restores full protection against the weather.
The smoke-colored dome lets a little light through but cuts the harsh glare. It’s made of polypropylene plastic that’s tough enough for everyday use and won’t yellow or cloud easily. The tint gives a softer light inside so it’s bright enough to see but still helps control heat and UV exposure.
This lid uses a continuous hinge that matches the Ventadome vent design. It slides right onto the hinge track and locks into place without needing special tools. If your old vent lid used the same hinge type, this one will line up and fit smoothly.
The lid is designed for straightforward DIY replacement. Just lift the old cover off the hinge, line up the new one at a 90-degree angle, and snap it into place. You can get back to a smooth-opening, weather-tight vent without replacing the whole assembly.

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Ventline Replacement Dome Assembly in white, part number BVD0449-A01. It's also available in smoke, part number BVD0449-A03. This is going to be a direct replacement for the lid on your model number V2092, V2094, V2119 and V2128, Ventadome Roof Vents. It has the same web shape and it's made out of the same polypropylene material. Over time your lid may crack, break or fade. We're going to show you how to replace it. Now of course this will be in your RV, but for demonstration purposes, we're going to show you right here.
We'll flip it over and this will be as if we we're looking up. First thing we want to do is go ahead and remove the screen. We've got these little tabs surrounding it. We can actually just push those out and begin taking it off. All you're going to need for this job is a Phillips-Head screwdriver. Let's go ahead and take off the knob.
Once we get that screw loose, we can actually just pull up on the knob just like that and set it aside. For our tray here, we just need to push in on each side inward. We've got some teeth that we need to get around, but then it should just pop right on out. You can see the two teeth here. Then we've got our switch. If you'd like you can disconnect it, we're going to leave ours attached.
The other two wires here will be connected to your power in your RV. Then we can grab our Phillips-Head screwdriver again and we're going to remove our arm assembly. Now we'll need to take these screws all the way out. With those loose, it's going to allow us to remove our arm from our lid. We can just slide it off like so and just kind of leave it set there. Then it's going to allow us to remove our lid from our vent assembly. Now this portion will be on top of your RV.
You can actually lift up on the non hinged end of the lid all the way up and then take it off. We can grab our new one. We'll locate the hinge side, go ahead and turn it over, line it up and then turn it over like so. Now we can go back inside of our RV. Back here on the inside we can reconnect our arm assembly. We'll just need to slide this on to the portion right here just like that and then position it over our holes. I've gone ahead and reinstalled my other components. Let's go ahead and test it out. I'd say it's working pretty good. That's going to complete our look at the Ventline Replacement Dome Assembly.

BVD0449-A03 is the correct part number for Ventline Model V2094 manufactured after 2008. The part fit like new. Thank you Etrailer
If I had any recommendation, it would be that you ID the correct part number for 2008 and earlier. BVD0449-403 as this is not widely known.

The factory dome broke so I replaced both of my trailer’s domes with these. The smoke color helped to make the trailer more comfortable. These are also higher quality than the factory domes the trailer came with.

Fits perfect on my 2023 Forrest River rv. Tip for DIY installers- you must disassemble the arm from the inside to install. 20 minute job, maybe shorter if I knew that first. Great Product!

My vent cover is going strong! Works great and was easy to install and is easy to clean.
It was exactly what I needed for my camper and installation was a breeze!
The dark dome assembly is translucent and still lets light come through in the bedroom unfortunately. Easy replacement but beware of handling the interior inserts that have to be disassembled.The interior inserts are as thin and fragile as an egg shell and easily broken, as I found out the hard way on my Forest River RV.
It was an exact fit!! Definitely what I was looking for as a replacement to the one I had that recently got hail damaged. I definitely look forward to continuing to use etrailer for my camper needs and anything else they have that I might need.

The replacement dome assembly we purchased fit perfectly and was very easy to install. Highly recommend etrailer for RV replacement parts. Sales team was very professional and fast response with our product order and support.
Fit just as illustrated. Instalation videos were very helpful. My actual vent was slightly different on the interior that required some additional parts removal to get to the crank mounting screws on the center rail. All installed very easily.
The dome was a direct replacement for our 5th wheels broken one. It was an easy replacement and the dimensions were an exact fit. I wish that the kit provided the slide on replacement clip that is supposed to slide onto the middle of the hinge side. Ours was missing from the camper.
It was the correct peice, my only issue was a very tight fit on the slide to open mechanism.had to shave mine with a dremel but it is in and just ordered another. My other vent cover is also cracked. I guess 4 years on the factory peice is to be expected in the desert southwest.
Very well-made replacement, much better quality than the Jayco Feather Air provided initially.
