Can this hitch be turned 180 degrees in the pucks and give the same result dimensionally as disassembling the arms and moving to the opposite sides?

Hey Michael, that is a really clever question that I am surprised I've never seen before or thought of! Yes you can rotate just the base of the B and W Companion hitch part # BWRVK3710 and then install the head back onto it and you'd have the same offset advantage as removing the arms and moving them around like you asked about. For most people it's just best to use it in the rear most offset position so I would would assemble it like that and probably just keep it like that.

Thanks, I asked because I borrowed a hitch for clearance testing. It will be easier for my test to reverse.

@JamesonC the test went well, I have an Alliance 32rls. While I wasn’t able to make 90degrees, I estimate I made about 80 degree to the truck with the upright to the rear. In the 2 years I have used this camper and another 8 years before that I have never had to go that distance. I will be purchasing the B&W at a later date and selling my pullrite super slider. This will reclaim the bed space the slider took in my truck.

@Michael Nice! Yeah while being able to make the full 90 degree turn is nice in theory its actually super rare that you need to be able to execute one. Usually if you are close to 90 degrees something is getting out of hand and it's best to pull forward and try again haha.

Since this unit has the one inch jaws, will I still be able to use a teflon disc without issues? The grease presents quite a mess occasionally.
