The MouseBlocker PROx Electronic Rodent Deterrent 12V DC # MB94FR has been proven to help with squirrels as well, but results can vary depending on the environment and how persistent the animals are. This unit uses a combination of ultrasonic sound waves and bright LED strobe lights to make enclosed spaces uncomfortable for rodents, including mice, rats, and squirrels. It works best in tighter or enclosed areas such as engine compartments, RV storage bays, or garages where the sound and light can stay concentrated.
While many users report a noticeable reduction in rodent activity, squirrels are larger and often more determined than mice. Because of this, the deterrent is most effective when used as part of a broader prevention approach that includes sealing potential entry points, removing food sources, and using physical barriers when possible.
