Question:
I have a 2020 Ford F-150 limited with towing package, I don’t use trailer hitch much but when I install a hitch light to the 4 pin connector I get error messages on my dash as truck is trying to identify a trailer. Is this because of LED Lights? I also have a 60” light bar I’d like to connect but don’t want the aggravation of the truck trying sense a trailer Will the Low power sensor you advertise take care of this Thank you

Yes, that's correct Tommy. Your F-150's computer thinks there's a trailer connected and the LED lights are not providing enough of a return signal. The 7-Way to 4-Way/5-Way Trailer Adapter for Vehicles with Lamp-Out Sensors Towing Trailers with LEDs item # C35FR is exactly what you need to stop this problem. It has built-in resistors that simulate a higher voltage pull.

Hey Tommy, how did things go after using the adapter with your F-150’s hitch light and 60” light bar? Your update could make it easier for others running LED lights on similar trucks.
