Today were reviewing part number PK12-704. This is from Pollak. It is the RV seven-blade plug and socket. Heres your mounting bracket right here, and what you do is you see your seven-blade in there. What you do is take off these screws, one here and one here and then remove the seven-blade. Then you want to run your wiring from your tow vehicle, run the cable with the wiring into the back here.
I think you can see the hole thats inside here. Then you run the wiring in there and pull it through. Then you connect your wire to the seven blade that youve pulled out.Once its connected you can push the seven blade back in there where it belongs. Then you do basically the same thing on the trailer end. Theres one screw right here.
You take that off, pull out the seven pin right here and you do the same thing with the wiring from the trailer into this end. Then you push the seven pin back in and thats how it works. There you have it for part number PK12-704 from Pollak, the RV seven-blade plug and socket. .
Solid construction easy to install.
Excellent quality metal product just like old school, made good, not plastic.
I just received the Pollack RV-7 blade socket and mounting bracket. Everything was in the box and was delivered in a timely manner which is no small feat considering that I ordered during the holidays. I appreciate the fact that the folks at etrailer take an active interest in ensuring customer satisfaction. This is my fourth product that I have ordered from etrailer. There have been no issues with the products or the service.
Silly me. I did not grasp from the website that the male plug and female socket are both included in the same tbox. There's a mounting bracket in there, too. This is good stuff. I was pushed when ordering and somehow didn't fully understand what was included with the part number. I ordered a few extra male connectors as a result, but what the heck. I'll just buy more trailers.
The Bulldog gooseneck coupler is just as we thought very heavy built, shipment was fast and very well packaged, the pollak plug & socket are very nice and not plastic.
As with numerous times before very easy to deal with, fast shipping, great products. This metal trailer wiring housing and pigtail is terrific. My plastic one broke wanted stronger metal one. Thanks
This plug was recommended, and I think it is for a goose neck which means it is about ten times tougher than the RV plugs.
The metal outter case is a whole lot more durable than the plastic alternative. Will definitely use etrailer.com again.
Shipping was extreme fast and trailer and vehicle connection was a perfect match to my replacement plug .
Made from metal that corrodes quickly. Put it in and 1 month later it was rusty inside at all the contact points. Need to be stainless and brass for this environment.
Thank you so much for the great product but even more for the great customer service! so helpful in assisting me with what i needed. knowledable and friendly. Thank you!!
Trailer end was extremely difficult to get back in recepticle after connecting wiring.
well made ,my only complaint is the door has no gasket seal for water and debris
I have never found a tuffer, more weather resistant plug. I have to replace them regularly in all my equipment. Metal was the way to go.
As always, y'all are great! Good prices, lots and lots of supply and great website.
Other than this delivery taking a few extra days than initially expected, great again!
It’s solid. No plastic. Great product at extremely fair price.
I have not installed the parts as of this date!!
Well built, and strong. Alot better than plastic ones that everybody wants to use. The metal will last longer and look better.
The product ordered arrived quickly.
