I have a Petterson 426E Back up light. What is an alternat Light to be used as a replacement.

Hey Charles, thanks for the information! Since your current Peterson 426E back up lights are incandescent, I recommend replacing both of them with LED's. The Optronics LED Backup Light for Trucks or Trailers item # BUL11CB is going to be the best option. They'll be much brighter and would draw a fraction of the power of an incandescent. They're definitely going to be a bit more expensive, but they last up to 50 times longer.
You'll need the Rubber Grommet for 4" Round Trailer Lights item # A45GB and the Right Angle 3-Wire Pigtail for Optronics Trailer Lights - 3-Prong PL-3 Plug - 10" Lead item # A47PB to get the lights easily installed.
What kind of trailer or vehicle are you replacing lights on?

Hey Charles, how did the Optronics LED backup lights work out as replacements for your Peterson 426E lights? Were they as bright as you hoped once you added the grommet and pigtail? Your update could make it easier for others looking to upgrade their trailer lights.
