Will the Tekonsha Prodigy RF Wireless Brake Controller Work w/a Factory 7-Way on a 2022Mercedes GLS?

Question:
Want to purchase the Tekonsha Prodigy RF wireless brake controller. I do have a factory installed tow package with a 7 pin connector. Online it says this fits the 2022 Mercedes GLS WITHOUT factory tow package. Will this work with mine even though I have the factory installed Tow Package or is there a similar one to purchase?

Hey Todd. The Tekonsha Prodigy RF Wireless Brake Controller item # TK94FR will indeed work with the factory 7-Way connector on your 2022 Mercedes GLS. The only issue you may encounter is if your trailer has LED lights. If so you'll also need the Trailer Connector Adapter w/ Lamp-Out Sensor Bypass item # 20142.
The Tekonsha Prodigy RF item # TK94FR is going to plug directly into your factory 7-way. It installs on the tongue of your trailer and has a included remote that allows you to make adjustments from inside your Mercedes.

Thank you so much Jerred! We just bought a new 6' x 12' enclosed trailer. It does have LED lights on it so we will add that adapter. Thank you! I have two different vehicles that will be pulling this trailer so thought the wireless controller was the best solution. Would you recommend something different or think this is a good solution?
