Hey William. The MORryde Safe-T-Rail Telescoping RV Hand Rail item # MR54BR is going to be the best option for your 2022 Grand Design 390RK. It measures 54" long and extends off of your RV 42 1/2".

Please note that you will need at least 2-1/2" between your slideout and the door frame to install the MORryde Safe-T-Rail Telescoping RV Hand Rail item # MR54BR if you're installing it on that side of your steps.

Hi there. I absolutely love the new hand rail. It’s very functional.. we love the fact that it is easy to grasp from the ground level right to the top of the stairs as it is much longer than the flip in/out one. I installed it myself and it was easy to do. I watched the videos from Etrailer to help me with that ! I am VERY happy and highly recommend it! I feel it has updated the look of my 15+ year old 5th wheel !

I installed this handrail on a small travel trailer that I plan to take on a trip to Alaska next summer. It installed easily and is very firm. My wife who uses a cane to get around finds it easy to use and feels safe for her. I think it'll get used a lot on our trip. Right now it is parked for the winter.

We bought the MORryde Safe-T-Rail Telescoping RV Hand Rail item from e.trailer, it was the best price around and after watching the video, we simply completed the installation.

The handrail is a great safety tool for getting in and exiting the coach. The lower attachment screws into the skirt with no solid backing. The screws keep backing out. Is there a fix for this? Thanks Patrick Reflection 150, 260 RD

@PatrickB You would want put something behind that would anchor the screws in that situation.
