Hi, everyone. Steven here with etrailer. Let's take a look at the Blue technology RV water softener with a smart cap. Now folks, this is a stainless steel mobile water softener, again, with a smart cap technology. This will soften your RV or camping water without the need of electricity, and it supports permanent or portable installations. And as you can see, it's got a nice ergonomic, heavy duty rubberized handle here to help hold everything.
And again, the tank here is stainless steel, measures about eight inches in diameter by 18 inches tall overall. You've got your inlet and outlets, and these all have quick connect fittings in 'em for your water supply. So very nice stainless steel connections, as well. And again, you get a small water hose here, as well, for the drainage and whatnot. So, coming around here, I wanna pull this up closer just so I can show you better this valve assembly.
So I don't know how good you can see everything here, but it does say back flush, salt regeneration, and softener. And basically you can spin that that way the arrow lines up with whatever you wanna do for the specific purpose. So if it's back flush, salt regeneration, or if you want it to be on the softener, you can switch through those with ease. Now, this does use a 10,000 grain capacity, so it's gonna deliver more than 1,000 gallons of softened water per charge and it does have high flow port that's gonna support consistent water pressure for RV use. And again, this external drain is gonna be simplifying the regeneration process and the back flush process, as well.
Now, if you're not familiar with these, basically that 10,000 grain resin is inside of here. That's gonna reduce calcium, magnesium, iron, lead, radium, and other contaminants that are known to be in most tap waters. And as I said, it's preassembled ready to go outta the box. The resin here should last you about seven to 10 years as far as long-term performance. And again, 10,000 grains, more than a thousand gallons of water.
