Question:

Do you sell the in 2-5/16 ball for the Weigh safe Aero hitch. I want to eliminate having to use the clamshell adapter. Is there anyway to permanently mount the 2-5/16 clamshell adapter? Im afraid Ill lose it and be out of luck on the road. Thanks

Hey Keith! I'm sorry to say the clamshell adapter # WS82KR that comes with the Weigh Safe Aero is the only option for a 2-5/16" Ball. If you want to permanently mount it you would have to weld it on.

If you don't already have the Aero, or wouldn't mind selling it, you could get the Weigh Safe Hitch # WS78RR instead. This comes with a 2" and 2-5/16" ball and still has the built-in scale. It also comes with locks for added security.

Hey Keith, how did things turn out with your Weigh Safe Aero hitch and the clamshell adapter? Did you end up welding it on or switching to the Weigh Safe hitch with the built-in scale? Your update could make it easier for the next person with the same concern.
