Have a few questions about a few products on my vehicle. 5th wheel hitch and rail mounts Not sure what products are needed. No OEM bed mount in truck. 2021 Silverado 2500 6.6 Diesel standard bed

Hey Nicholas! What exactly are your questions? If you're looking for a complete kit with rails and a 5th wheel hitch I recommend the B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider # BW67XR. This comes with a custom base rail kit for your Silverado along with the Patriot slider so you have clearance for turns with the standard bed. If you don't have wiring in the bed you will also want the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness # C53CR.

Make sure you define standard bed. Regular cab, long bed or crew cab with a short bed? You can also have a crew cap with a long bed. Make sure you know before you order. If you have a regular cap long bed, you do not need the patriot slider. That’s additional weight that you don’t need to carry around or remove from your truck when not using it.

Robin, I bought the universal base rails from etrailer for my 24 dodge ram 2500 using a 16k Reese 5th hitch. The rails work perfectly and I have not had any problems. I would suggest upgrading or adding a 2nd wiring harness plug mounting it inside of your truck bed so the cables from the 5th wheel that connect to ur power plug does not hang over ur truck bed. I forget what i paid it was cheap. I hired someone to connect the new plug to the original plug by the bumper. GAME CHANGER! Easy! Hope this helps!
