Question:
Do you have a replacement latch that will fit a 2001 Featherlite horse trailer? I think this is the one but it looks a little different than the original. Bauer-Products BA95FR

Hey Jessie,
Unfortunately I do not have a way of knowing what the original latch was exactly on that trailer. The Bauer Products lock # BA95FR is a very popular one for horse trailers that I have seen, but it is the dimensions that come into play to determine fitment. This one specifically is 4-7/8" long x 4-1/2" tall and requires a cutout of 3-3/4" tall x 2-3/4" wide.
Do you know what dimensions or cutout size you currently have on the trailer? I can see if there is one that better matches that. If you do not have this information this will still work as a replacement you just may have to make some modifications to the door in order for it to fit. Let me know if you can get any more information off of your original and I can keep digging.

Hey Jessie, were you able to measure the cutout on your Featherlite trailer door to compare with the Bauer latch? Once you had those dimensions, did this lock end up fitting or did you find another option that matched better? Your update could make it easier for the next person with the same trailer.
