Question:
2026 Ram 3500 8ft Dually How many inches does the front mounting area and the four pieces take from the bed when all flipped up against the back window? I have a below the bed rail tool box that will need to be mounted forward enough to allow me to pop the lid open. So how many inches of bed am I going to lose with this bed cover in order to pop it open with it all flipped up against the rear window?

He Joe, The BAKFlip MX4 Hard Tonneau Cover # BAK48204 is approximately 3" thick when folded onto the front panel up at the cab of the truck. The panels are 1/2" thick but they don't fold perfectly flat and there is some other material in there as well. If you count where the latches sit it is closer to 4-1/2". Will that work for you?

Hey Joe, how did things work out with the BAKFlip MX4 cover on your Ram 3500? Were you able to mount your toolbox far enough forward to open the lid easily? Your update could make it easier for the next person setting up a similar combo.
