Will this hitch work with my 2025 Outback XT for hauling a small utility trailer?

Absolutely, Carla - your 2025 Outback XT has the 2.4L turbo engine, rated to tow up to 3,500 lbs, and the TowSmart # TS34ZR is rated well above that at 4,500 lbs towing; it'll work great for your utility trailer. I do recommend checking your owner's manual just to double check that 3,500lb towing capacity of the Subaru.
The install requires lowering the exhaust and trimming the heat shield, but it’s fully bolt-on with no drilling.
You’ll also want the T-One Wiring Harness # 118467 for your trailer lights and the Ball Mount Kit # 989891 to get your hitch balls so you are ready for towing.
