I am looking for a trailer hitch for a 2026 mazda CX-50 hybrid. Do you have one for the hybrid?

Hi Peter!

The previous 2025 CX-50 hitch from Curt (the # C33MJ) fit both gas and hybrid models, so I would be willing to bet pretty good money that the new Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" - Preorder # C96UB will as well. Now with that being said, I can't say that with 100% certainty, but I think it's a pretty good bet.

What are you wanting to use the hitch for?

Hey Peter, did you end up trying the Curt hitch on your CX-50 hybrid? Knowing how it fit could really help others looking at the same setup.

If this newer part is compatible with 2025 and 2026 Mazda CX-50, what's the difference between this and the CC3MJ and the newer C96UB? Will the newer offering make it so no cutting of bumper plastic?

@MarkS The # C96UB will not be compatible with the 2025 Mazda CX-50 due to the refresh of the vehicle for the 2026 model year. At least that is the word thus far. As the new one has not been released quite yet, I cannot speak to the differences or how it will install. All that being said, I did just check with Curt and the # C33MJ does look like it will fit the 2026 CX-50. This one does require cutting for the install, so maybe the C96UP won't, but I can't say that for sure.
