Question:
I currently have the BlueOx Avail towbar and want to upgrade to the Apollo. I have a Newmar Superstar 4051 and my tow vehicle is a 2022 Ram 2500 limited Does the Apollo basically fit into the tow bar base plate used for the Avail? Will the three finger fitting into the truck be the same from each towbar to the currently installed baseplate? Will the hitch fit into my existing hitch for the Avail for the Apollo?

Hey Edward, thanks for the information. The Blue Ox Apollo Non-Binding Tow Bar item # BLU22CR is going to connect to your Ram 2500 and your Newmar motorhome the same way as the Blue Ox Avail item # BX7420 does. The triple-lug brackets on the end of the Apollo item # BLU22CR are the same ones that are on the end of the Avail item # BX7420. They both fit a 2" hitch receiver.
Why are you upgrading tow bars?

Hi Jerred, I know the avail is rated for 10,000 lbs. My 2500 is 7650 GVWR. We are putting a golf cart in the bed, plus some travel items inside the cab. Figured I’ll be pushing up against the 10K limit. Also, the avail came with the coach. We purchased the coach this summer used and the unknowns of the tow bar history make me leery about trusting it for a long trip
