Question:

Hi Folks. I have a set of Kwikee steps on my motorhome that I mangled and they need to be replaced. The part is 903209001 and the serial is 0505005386. Is there a direct replacement for this model? Thank You!

Hey Lee, thanks for the information. The 903209001 part number corresponds to a 24" wide Kwikee 32 series step. To replace them you'll want the Kwikee Electric RV Step Complete Assembly item # LC372261.

The Kwikee item # LC372261 is going to be a direct replacement. You'll just bolt it up to where your old steps mounted and plug in the new wiring harness. We did find out some of the older model RVs have the switches wired differently with how they opened or closed. I have linked an installation video below that covers what to do if you run into this situation. How to fix it is covered in detail starting at the 7 min mark.

How did you manage to mangle your current steps?

You can add this information and any other questions you have where it says Reply to Jerred H and I'll be happy to answer them.

Hey Jerred. Thank you so much for the reply. That is exactly the info I needed. Will be ordering soon. How did I mangle them? Well, any shop you build is never big enough. Lets just say I forgot that they were in the out position while trying to back the excavator out of the garage and.... the excavator won :)

@LeeW You're welcome! Happy to help. The Kwikee Electric RV Step Complete Assembly item # LC372261 will definitely get you back up and running. That will definitely do it! I couldn't agree more on shop space. You'll find a way to fill it up no matter how big it is.
