Hey Brad, congrats on your new truck! You can reuse the head of your B&W Companion item # BWRVK3500-5W. The Replacement Base for B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch item # BWRVB3710 will allow you to reuse your Companion head and mount it in the puck system of your new truck.
The item # BWRVB3710 and your item # BWRVK3500-5W will essentially give you the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch item # BWRVK3710 you were looking at.
We also have the Replacement Slider Base item # BWRVB3775 if you're needing a sliding hitch.
What kind of 5th wheel trailer do you have?

I have a 2017 Keystone Cougar 303RLS - 35'. Pretty sure it's a Lippert pin box. My old truck had a 6 1/2' bed and new one will have the same. Existing B&W is not a slider base as Keystone dealer said the nose of the rv is shaped to not require a slider. It's worked ok so far but should I consider a slider? Thanks Jerred
