Question:
Hello- I have a Coleman 45000-0762 which I see it’s a Mach 10 Heat Pump Style I am stare heat strip is with it. One is I plan on installing a soft start going back and forth between the OEM Coleman and Softstart both seems good but leading towards Coleman. The question I have does my Coleman have the heat strip? And what do I need to do with my stat as it currently turns on propane furnace. I would like to have the option to use the heat from either if possible Thank you

Hey Dan, if your Coleman Mach 10 had the heat pump I am sure you would know by now. It should be listed in the product name on the unit but you can also look at the product number on the unit. If it starts with 45004 then it is a model that has the heat pump. Now if you had the heat strip that would have had to have been added on later. It would be the part # CM96RR so you can look for that. It would be manually controlled with it's black knob.
The SoftStart # SSR54FR would be a really great option though!

Hey Dan, how did things go with checking your Coleman Mach 10 to see if it had the heat strip or heat pump? Your update could make it easier for others trying to confirm their setup before adding a SoftStart.
