Video Transcript for Review of Coleman-Mach RV Air Conditioners - Signature Mach 3 RV AC Textured White - CM97RR

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a quick look at this Coleman-Mach Signature Mach 3 13,500 BTU RV air conditioner in textured white. So at 13,500 BTU, this unit's gonna do a great job of keeping your small to medium sized rig cool. And Coleman has been making RV air conditioners for a long time now, and the Mach line has a reputation for being both reliable and durable. And this Signature Series model is basically the more premium option.

So they beefed up the components and added some extra efficiency to help it run smoother and last a little bit longer. So the overall length here from end to end, we're sitting pretty close to 39 inches long. The overall width, about 26 inches wide. And then the overall height, about 13 1/2 inches tall. This is going to work on opening sizes in your roof of 14 1/4 by 14 1/4 inches.

And this weighs about 75 pounds or so. And so this is going to be the rooftop unit only. It will be compatible with both ducted and ductless systems. So this rooftop unit is basically the same engine, whether you run ducts or not. And so it's going to be the interior assembly that determines whether cooled air gets distributed through vents like your ducted system, or just plunges straight down, which would be a non-ducted system.

So you will pair this with a compatible Coleman-Mach air distribution box and thermostat to complete your entire cooling setup. I do wanna point out that this is not going to be backwards-compatible with AC systems from 2024 and earlier due to the new R32 refrigerant that meets the 2025 EPA regulation. So if you are just replacing the AC unit only and you're planning on using your current air distribution box and thermostat, those have to be compatible with the R32 refrigerant. If they're not compatible with the new R32 refrigerant, you will have to replace all of the components of your air conditioner system. So we do actually provide this unit in kits depending on whether you need ducted or ductless.

So you can find those kits here at etrailer.com. So the Mach Signature Series is designed with a pretty rugged cover, rugged casing and cover, and heavy-duty construction. And so it's gonna be able to handle the usual wear and tear. And this textured white finish isn't just about looks, it's going to be able to help resist fading, scuffs, and dirt. So it's going to probably keep a cleaner appearance over time, but maybe with my fingernails you can kind of hear that textured surface if you can't really see it through the camera. I do wanna pull out the wiring harness here from the front. So you'll just drop this through the opening of your roof. And so this unit is going to be pretty powerful. Coleman does a nice job of keeping the noise down. It's not whisper-quiet, but compared to older models or budget brands, it's gonna be noticeably less disruptive. So that means you're gonna be able to sleep and relax and watch a movie, have some conversations inside of your camper or RV while this is running without having to shout. So like I said, this is just going to be for this rooftop AC, but if you are looking for complete kits, we do carry complete kits. So whether it's the 13,500 BTU or the the 15,000 BTU, we do have those units available in various kits.
