What is the amperage rating of switch? And the switch supplies power when contacts are apart, correct? Thank you.

Hi Teddy; the Replacement Magnetic Door Sensor for Kwikee Electric RV Steps # LC374198 is rated for 15A at 12V DC. The circuit is closed when the tabs are apart so that is correct.
