Will this fit a 2019 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk Elite? And will any blue ox towbar attach?? Thank you

Hey Bill. The Blue Ox item # BX1144 won't work with a 2019 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk Elite but the Blue Ox item # BX1143 will. This baseplate is compatible with all Blue Ox tow bars like their Alpha 2 item # BX7380 and other models that use Blue Ox adapters like our item # e47ZR.

I saw your other question about the tow hooks. There are no baseplates for your Trailhawk that allow you to keep the tow hooks.

I linked an installation video below so you can see how to get it installed.

Do you already have a Blue Ox tow bar? If so what model so I can confirm it does work with the item # BX1143. There's some older ones out there so I just want to make sure yours is compatible.

Here are the rest of the parts you'll need to flat tow your 2019 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk Elite:

Wiring Harness - Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles - item # RM-15267

Battery Charge Line - Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles item # RM-156-25

Supplemental Braking System - Curt RVi Series Shadow 2 Flat Tow Brake System item # RVI94FR for a permanent install or the Curt RVi Series 4 Portable Flat Tow Brake System item # RVI44FR for a portable system.

Please note that the Shadow 2 braking system item # RVI94FR includes a charge line. You will not need item # RM-156-25 if you purchase this one.

High Low Adapter - The tow bar needs to be within 3" of level. If you measure the height of the inside top of the hitch receiver tube on your RV, and the height difference is more than 3 inches above/below the base plate tab height, you'll need a high/low adapter. I have linked a FAQ article that explains all this in more detail along with our selection of adapters.

This baseplate is compatible and recommended for a 2019 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk Elite.
