Question:

I own a Thule T2 pro XTR bike rack. The bikes are very heavy and difficult to lift up onto this rack. Is there a bike ramp you can recommend that will work with this rack?

I have an answer for you. Unfortunately, we currently don't carry any bike ramps that are designed for your Thule T2 Pro XTR # TH83JV. The only thing that would come close would be to purchase something like the Race Ramps Trailer Loading Assist Ramps - 8" Lift - 74" Long - Qty 2 # RR-TR-8XL to use with your current rack.

With that being said, if you are open to purchasing another rack, we do have a great rack that has a built-in ramp. For this route, I recommend the Yakima OnRamp # Y36FR. The OnRamp has a 66 pound per-bike weight capacity and will fit the same 2-inch hitch you use for your T2 Pro XTR. Another great feature is that the cradles on the OnRamp are adjustable all along the center mast. This feature will allow you to use virtually any style of frame on the rack without the need for an adapter bar.

The referenced Race Ramps Trailer Loading Assist Ramps aren't even remotely useable with the Thule rack (I have the same rack.) 8 inch lift? What good is that?

@Dcm I would agree Bob gave a pretty bad recommendation here. He doesn't work here anymore if that means anything.

@JamesonC That actually does help. I was considering looking at what he suggested until "If you are interested in buying another rack... " LOL. Sure. I just paid $900 for a rack. I'll just go ahead and buy another one. It's only $$ right? Thanks for your response to DCM. Peace.
