Recommended Brake Controller for a 2023 Buick Enclave

I have a 2023 Buick Enclave with a factory tow package. What products do I need to install a brake controller and be ready to tow a trailer with electric brakes? Thanks

Hey Richard. To add a brake controller to your 2023 Buick Enclave, I recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller w/ Universal Wiring Harness item # RED52VR. This is a proportional brake controller that will engage your trailer's brakes when your Buick decelerates or stops. It activates immediately and is not time delayed. It uses the same amount of force to slow or stop your trailer as you are using to slow or stop your Buick. This is the safest type of controller and the easiest on both tow vehicle and trailer.
The Tow-Pro Liberty item # RED52VR has a unique installation method that allows you to mount the main control unit out of sight behind your dash. The only part visible is the control knob, which is about the size of a nickel. This means no bulky controller to bang your knee on while driving.
I checked with our vendors and even though your 2023 Buick Enclave has the factory tow package there's no plug in wiring adapter for it. You will need to use the universal harness included with the item # RED52VR to complete the installation.
