Question:
I have a 2020 Dynamax DX3 on a Freightliner chassis with air brakes. The factory already installed the Prodigy® P2 Electronic Brake Control in the cab and it sees a 10foot flatbed trailer when I plug it into the large round plug at the rear of the RV even though the trailer has no brakes. I plan on flat towing a 2018 F150 3.0 4X4 crew cab pickup. Can I use the Blue Ox Patriot Portable Flat Tow Brake System - Proportional Part Number: BLU37TR along with my brake controller rather than the Demco Air Force One Flat Tow Brake System setup you sell? Thanks Mark

Yes, you definitely can Mark! The Blue Ox Patriot Portable Flat Tow Brake System item # BLU37TR is going to work great with your 2018 F-150 and your motorhome's air brakes. You will also need the 12 Volt Outlet Kit, 20 amps item # RM-9332 to power the Patriot and the Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit item # RM-88400 so your F-150's brake signal and turn signals don't get crossed up when your RV brakes during a turn.
I saw you already purchased the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit item # BO74FR. This baseplate is exactly what you need for your 2018 Ford F-150.
Do you need any other flat towing components?
You can add this information and any other questions you have where it says Reply to Jerred H and I'll be happy to answer them.

I am looking at purchasing the Curt RVi Series Towed Battery Charger+ for Flat Towing Part Number: RVI74FR to keep the F150 battery charges while driving. But I also see on some of the questions and answers that some also recommend installing your Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles Part Number: RM-156-25 along with the Curt RVi Series Towed Battery Charger+. A bit confused on why it is also needed. Thanks
