Hi John; do you have the OEM prep package (puck system) in your 2025 Silverado 2500? Assuming you do, we have the following available with autoslide:

-Demco Autoslide 5th Wheel Hitch w/ Slider # DM79GV

-PullRite SuperGlide 5th Wheel Hitch for Chevy/GM Factory Prep Package # PUL83RR

Between the two I prefer the Demco since the hitch height setting can be adjusted and PullRite height is fixed. Both are high quality hitches so you really can't go wrong with either one. The PullRite will require a capture plate specific to your pin box. The Demco will require locking plates if you have a GlideRide, MorRyde, Trailair Tri Glide, Trailair Flexair, Rota Flex, Lippert Road Armor, or 5th Airborne pin box.

If you don't have the prep package you can choose from the following which includes above bed rails for 5th wheel hitch installation:

-Demco Autoslide 5th Wheel Hitch w/ Slider for Chevy/GMC # DM24KV

-PullRite SuperGlide 5th Wheel Hitch for Chevy/GMC # PUL65RR

Hey John, what did you end up choosing between the Demco and PullRite autoslide hitches for your Silverado and Cruiser setup? Your update could make it easier for the next person trying to pick the right fit for a short-bed truck.

@RobinH I ended up going with the BW manual slide

@JohnD can't really go wrong with the B&W Companion either, I typically recommend it unless someone wants an autoslide.

@RobinH what height requirements and position of the pivot arms do I need. When using a 2025 2500 HD short and with a rough country trifold tonneau cover.
