Question:

are the Internal Tire Sensor for TireMinder TPMS aka TM46FR better than the external / screw on type. i.e. less prone for loss of signal, false indications, over press warnings and all the other misc problems many people complain about. I will never use the external sensor / transmitter - my opinion they may cause as many or more problems than they solve. Thank-you

Hey Robert, welcome back! The Internal Tire Sensor for TireMinder TPMS item # TM46FR is far better than an external tire pressure sensor. It's more accurate when it comes to PSI and temperature. The batteries last longer and you don't have to worry about it being stolen or falling off. The signal reception is way less prone to drop out than the external ones.

The only drawback of the Internal Tire Sensor item # TM46FR is you have to have it professionally installed.

What kind of trailer or motorhome do you have?

Thank-you, your answer is what I expected. Is there anything special I need to do, to use the TM89FR (I-10 system) with 4 of the internal sensors - TM46FR? How do you activate the internal sensors to read on the display? Thank-you very much
