Hey David, thanks for reaching out!

How much clearance are you needing, and are you willing to take your tailgate off?

The Trailer Hitch Extender # e48YR is 18" long but with your tailgate down you're probably looking at something longer like the Reese # RP45292, but this fits a 2-1/2" receiver.

If you can give me a little more info on your setup, I'd love to help you figure out what exactly will allow you to take your boat trailer with you!

I am willing to take the tailgate off. If I do the camper will extend 8” beyond the truck bed

@DavidH So the 18" extension would be long enough in that case, but I just realized it only has a 3,500 lb weight rating so you'll need a different one instead. Would the 14" Gen-Y Hitch Receiver Hitch Extender # GY89SR work as well? This is shorter but it's rated for 10K so it can handle the weight of your trailer just fine.
