Hey Ray. The only additional wiring needed for the Blue Ox Patriot Portable Flat Tow Brake System item # BLU37TR is the 12 Volt Outlet Kit item # RM-9332. It has an inertia sensor built into the main unit that detects when your Mini is slowing or stopping and applies the corresponding amount of force to your brake pedal. The only signal that would be sent from the RV would be if you activated the manual stop on the in-cab controller.
The Patriot item # BLU37TR is compatible with your magnetic lights.
It looks like you got the rest of the flat towing parts you need for a 2015 Mini Cooper back in 2022. Is this your first braking system?
