Is There Zerk Fitting for Greasing Foot of Dutton Lainson Boat Trailer Jack
Updated 11/13/2025 | Published 10/24/2025 >
Question:
On the boat trailer jack Item DL67MR, will the bearing be down near the wheel or does the whole inside pipe have to turn with the wheel? If it is down by the wheel, is there a grease zerk to lube the bearing?

Hey Steve, are you referring to the bearing that is in the rotating foot of the Dutton Lainson Boat Trailer Jack part # DL67MR that you referenced? If so, there isn't a zerk fitting down by it for greasing it. I'd spray white lithium grease into the rotating foot area using a straw to direct it and that would be adequate.

Hey Steve, how did things go after you sprayed the white lithium grease into the rotating foot on your boat trailer jack? Did that smooth out the movement the way you needed? Your update could make it easier for the next person with the same question.
