Will Installation of EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch on 2023 Mercedes EQS SUV Require Fascia Trimming

Question:
Hi I saw that for EQS SUV 450+ there is a bit of bumper cutting job required. Is this the case for non wiring set I just want to use it to transport bike. Also, from you users do you guys have any issue with voiding Mercedes warranty?

Hi Dave; the EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch # EH94CR will require trimming regardless of trailer wiring. It is necessary for the receiver to fit properly. Installation of the hitch will not void your warranty. You are protected under the Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act (P.L. 93-637) so aftermarket components like a hitch cannot void the warranty of the vehicle.
Do you need a bike rack as well or do you already have one?
