Question:
Good morning, I am looking for a hub/bearing replacement for a Dexter hub 5-4.5 for a Triton 2 place snowmobile trailer. Is this something you can help me with?

Hello Damon, thanks for reaching out. We do carry Dexter 5 on 4-1/2" hubs, so we should have what you need. There is no way to look up your trailer to know exactly what hubs are needed though, so I will need a bit more info.
The best way to determine exactly what you need will be with the casting number on your hub. Brake drums should have a number cast on the front, and idler hubs should have a number on the back. In most cases we can use this number to look up your hub and find the bearing sizing and other specs.
If you can't find the casting number, knowing the weight capacity of the axle may help to narrow things down. Depending what you have you may need to remove a hub and pull the bearings. You can try to get the bearing number off the edge of each one, or you can measure the ID of each bearing with a caliper.
For example, if you have a standard 3,500 lb axle, the idler hub for that is part # AKIHUB-545-35-G-EZ-K. This uses the # L68149 (1.378" inner diameter) inner bearing and # L44649 (1.063" inner diameter) outer bearing.
If this is not exactly what you need, just get me whatever info you have and I am happy to look into it.
