How Much Does RockyMounts HotRod Truck Bed Bike Carrier Adapter Stick Out?

Question:
With the 15 X 100 adapter in place, how much space is there from the end of the adapter to the body of the mount? Im concerned about the body of the mount coming in contact with the inside surface of my fork. And, is the outside diameter of the 15 X 100 adapter 15 MM at the ends?

Hey Patrick, thanks for reaching out!
The ends of the RockyMounts HotRod Truck Bed Bike Carrier # RKY1087 stick out about 9/16" on either side of the mount with the 15-00 x 100-mm adapter installed.
The ID is 9/16" (14.3-mm) and the OD is 3/4" (19.1-mm) at the end. The internal diameter will work with that 15-mm skewer. My measurements were done by eye and with a tape measure so that 14.3 might be slightly off.

Thanks for the reply. The 12mm X 100mm will work. We have a Ford Maverick pick up, and i would mount it to a 2 X 4 that lays across the bed. I could send you a picture of the bike mounted to it after I get it installed.
