Question:
I have 5200lb Dexter EZ Lube Axles. Ive replaced the wheels on my camper and I need a 2.44inch grease cap that is about .25inch to .5inch more shallow so I can get the center cap to snap on my wheels. There seems to be plenty of room between the grease zerk on the axle and the rubber on the grease/dust cap.

Hey Neil, thanks for the picture! The shortest grease caps we have are the 2.44" OD EZ Lube Grease Cap item # 21-42-1 that has a 1.212" crown height and the Dexter Grease Caps item # DX99HR that have a 1.03" crown height. The crown height measurement is taken from the base of the grease cap flange that sits on top of your axle to the very top of the grease cap. It's labeled B on the picture below.
What is the crown height of you current grease cap?

Hey Neil, did you have a chance to measure the crown height of your current grease cap? I'm asking because it could help others who are trying to fit their center caps on new wheels.
