Hi David; you will have to measure your other leaf spring to find the right replacement. I recommend measuring the flat length to get the most accurate measurement, see the article linked further down on this page.

For example, if you found that the overall flat length was 26-3/8", or the eye to eye measurement was 25-1/4", you could use the 4-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 3,500-lb Trailer Axles # e54SR. If you have a different measurement let me know in the comments below and I'll see what is available.

I measured it, and from the center to the Eye, it is around 13 1/4 The total length from Eye to Eye is 26 1/4 to 26 1/2 inches. They are still on the trailer. I cannot take them off and leave it on jack stands. Do you not have a contact at Dexter, since they still manufacture and sell these to the camping industry? Or do I need to contact them to see what is on it?

I believe these are the parts I need to do all 4 4 of the part number e54SR 2 of the APUBR-1 2 of the AP233. Would that be everything?

@DavidM the # e54SR will work and so will the # APUBR-1. The # AP233 is correct if your existing equalizer matches the 5-3/4" length of the equalizer and your shackles straps are 2-1/4" center hole to center hole. This is a pretty common setup so they probably line up. To answer your question about Dexter, we can contact Dexter but they need the serial number off the axle tag. They don't always have the leaf spring information, or the other parts, they might only have information on the axle itself. Also, they're usually quick to respond but I haven't heard back from them recently (waiting a week or more for some axles to be identified) so avoiding that wait is ideal.

@RobinH, the serial number off the axle tag is 129025696. I asked them, sent them a picture of the axle tag, and they told me it's a 72-42 for the spring. I tried searching their website, but it is of no help. LOL

@DavidM probably 072-042-00 by their part numbers, which is the same as the # DX23CR. The # e54SR will still work as a replacement as well.
