Does OEM Brake Controller of 2022 Ram 3500 work with EOH Brakes

Question:
Hi I have a 2022 ram 3500 with OEM brake controller. I am getting a MORyde independent suspension installed in my trailer next month and MORyde is telling me I need a electric over oil brake controller. i looked in my manual for the truck and I do not have the option in my truck. MORyde has recommended the Tekonsha unit. Does this mean I am going to have 2 controllers and two receptacles at the rear of the truck for the trailer electrical cord. I am really confused I hope you can explain it for me.

Hey Jeff, the integrated brake controller of your 2022 Ram 3500 is compatible with electric over hydraulic brakes like what your trailer has so you wouldn't need to bypass it.
With that said some integrated controllers just don't like EOH actuators even if they are listed as compatible but we have found that over the years this has gotten a lot better. Has your OEM controller been working this whole time?
