You don’t have to worry about adding a separate module or adapter. The Alpha G-1600 has a built-in compatibility adapter that works with factory or aftermarket brake controllers already set to EOH. That means it connects directly to your existing setup using the standard wiring: black for 12 V power, blue for brake signal, yellow for breakaway, and white for ground. It’s ready to integrate right out of the box.
This unit’s compact size—10" long, 3-5/8" wide, and 6" tall—lets you mount it on the frame or inside an enclosed compartment. A rotating 90-degree brake line fitting provides 360 degrees of movement, so you can position the hydraulic line however you need. The mounting holes are spaced 10-7/8" by 1-5/8" center-to-center, making it easy to set up on standard brackets or custom mounts.
The extruded aluminum housing helps minimize heat while protecting the internals. Upgraded gaskets and a sealed 15.7 oz DOT 4 fluid reservoir keep out dirt and moisture, cutting down on maintenance and contamination. It’s a durable setup that’s designed to hold pressure and stay clean even in tough conditions.
The Alpha G-1600 is rated for single, tandem, or triple-axle trailers with disc brakes. It’s powered by a 12 V DC system on a minimum 30 amp circuit and draws 18-24 amps at full pressure. Meeting DOT specifications, this actuator gives you strong, dependable braking on every trip.
