Question:
Hi, I have an older surge brake actuator that I believe is a Titan M10. I need to replace the reverse solenoid. My old solenoid is a KIP valve 2x1721. It is visually very similar to your Part DX46UR. Is this part a suitable replacement?

Hey John, thanks for the information! To replace your solenoid you'll need the Replacement Solenoid Valve for Dexter Brake Actuators with Reverse Lockouts item # T4748800.
If your Titan Model 10 is from the year 2000 or older you'll also need the Solenoid Adapter Fitting # T4750200.
If you have a newer Titan Model 10, you will need the Orifice Connector for Titan Actuators item # T1209800 instead. Or you can purchase the Reverse Lockout Solenoid for Dexter and Tie Down Hydraulic Brake Actuators item # DX46UR, you referenced. The one you were looking at only fits the 2001 or newer models.
Do you know how old your surge brake actuator is?
