looking for any new 2026 curt trailer hitch install experiences. specifically how much modification to the bumper is expected? any recalibration on this car ? 2026 XSE premium plug in hybrid

Hey Pete. No one here has had a chance to install an aftermarket hitch on a 2026 Toyota Prius XSE Premium and there's no information from Curt or Draw-Tite either so I don't have any installation specifics as of (08/27/25).
I recommend checking back in a couple of months as these cars are just now coming out and the hitch manufacture's will confirm what fits and any installation hurdles.
