Does Curt Hitch part # C67RJ Fit 2024 Toyota Prius Prime XSE
Question:
Hello, I am confirming that the C67RJ Curt hitch will fit my 2024 Toyota Prius Prime XSE model. The reason I am asking is my trim level has four circular sensors across the rear bumper. I cannot see if the model in the Curt instructions has these, but I assume there will be some electrical connection to these that I need to be aware of before disassembly. Please verify this fits my trim level, and if I need any special prior knowledge about these sensors and installation. Thank you! I am looking forward to purchasing and installing this hitch pending your advice.

Hey Ken, yes the Curt hitch # C67RJ is a fit for your 2024 Toyota Prius Prime XSE. I went over the Curt install instructions for this hitch and there's no mention of any sensors so I would assume it doesn't require any special steps. Curt in general is really thorough with their instructions so I would not anticipate it being an oversight in any way. What are you wanting a hitch for?

Hi Jameson- Thanks for your quick reply. I ordered the hitch. I went to the YouTube video one of the reviewers on the hitch page mentions and it shows removal of the bumper on a prime with the same sensors- no issues removing. I will use the hitch for a bicycle rack. I won’t be towing or have any more weight than about 40 lbs max rack and bike. I have one on my other Prius I bought from you about 3 years ago and it works well with no issues. I did the installation and it was easy.
