Question:
I have RV products AC 13,500 btu. 48253-066. I want to replace with 15,000 btu. you have a couple adv86sr at and adv92sr. What is the difference and will they fit in my same space? Why is the one over $200 more for same 15,000btu?

Hey Jerri, the price difference between the two Advent Air part numbers you mentioned is the part # ADV86SR only comes with the upper unit whereas the part # ADV92SR also comes with the lower vent assembly and start capacitor. It's basically a complete kit for a new install whereas the part # ADV86SR would be if you already had those parts and just needed the top replacement part.
I know you have an Advent unit currently but if it was bought before January of 2025 it uses a different refrigerant and the lower air box would not work so you'd have to get the complete kit.
