How Is the Advent Air Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Carrier Setup ACCAR150 Controlled

Question:
If you can not use the remote? Then how do you turn it off and on. I have 8 foot ceiling Where I point remote up to change temperature on and off and heat. I want to buy but have to make sure it is what I need with all parts in order.

The Advent Air Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Carrier Setup part # ACCAR150 is just a replacement overhead unit that is designed to work with whatever controls an existing Carrier RV Air Conditioner (i.e. wall thermostat or remote).
