Question:
On a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee limited, what brake light switch wire should I tap the red brake controller into? I know it needs to be on a Cold wire, but can you inform me as to which wire that is?

Thanks for your question, Michael!
That's really great question that I wish I had an easy answer for. The only thing I could find in my search is that it is possible that it is a dark green wire with a white stripe. HOWEVER, this is not set in stone information. Your wire may very well be a different color, so you will still want to test the wires to find the right one.
You will want to use a multimeter or something like part # PTW2993 to help locate the wire. You'll want to check for which wire only has power when the brake pedal is pressed. This wire is what will get wired into the red wire of your brake controller.
Sorry I don't have an easy remedy for you.
