Question:
Im wanting to put on Maxxair fan cover with ez clips. What cover fit my Maxxair fan model 04951KSX Regular or Fanmate

Hey there Tim, either the MaxxAir II RV and Trailer Roof Vent Cover w/ EZClip - Black # MA86JR or the MaxxAir FanMate RV and Trailer Roof Vent Cover - 26-1/2" x 18-1/8" x 10-1/4" - Black # MA00-955002 will fit your Maxxair fan model 04951KSX. The only difference between these is that the first one, # MA86JR, is slightly shorter in length whereas the # MA00-955002 is a few inches longer and typically allows vents to open more, closer to 100%.
The fan will still function fine either way so it just comes down to preference really. All the vent needs to do is open 50% and it'll perform 100% as intended.
Does that help you out Tim?

Thank you Andrew for running this to ground; I installed the Vents and works great. Just a Note for others, make sure you put sealant over and around quick pins. Some may need to cut and remove part of the cover to accommodate Vents that may be next to the vent. A pair of tin snips works well, but will void the covers warranty.
