Question:
I have a small utility trailer with a pull behind setup, so it attaches to a lawn mower or other utility vehicle with just a pin. It was built with 1.5 square tubing. I want to install a 2 ball coupler and use it for towing rather than using the pin. Do you have a coupler with a 2 ball designed to fit 1/5 square tubing? If yes, will you point me to it? Thank you.

Hey John, thanks for the information! The smallest 2" coupler we have is the Channel Tongue Trailer Coupler item # CT-3001-Z, which fits a 2" channel. I did something similar to what you're wanting to do a few years back and it's still working.
What you'll want to do is get a piece or pieces of 1/4" steel and either weld a piece to either side or bolt them onto the sides of that 1.5" tubing. If you don't have a welder you'll want to make sure the steel pieces on the side are long enough that they extend past the length of the coupler a 3ish inches. You'll want to insert one bolt on the end and then use the mounting holes on the item # CT-3001-Z to secure the steel pieces and your coupler to the 1.5" tubing.
How big is this utility trailer?

Jerred, thanks for the info. Very helpful. The trailer is small and is used to move a portable generator around my property. It is only about 35" wide by 54" long.
