Replacement Axle for a Travel Trailer With a Dexter Axle

Question:
Hello, I have an axle on my travel trailer that has failed and I need to replace. Current axle is dexter B21-5650 3500 lbs axle. Can you recommend a replacement? Thanks, John

I can definitely help you out! To get started, I’ll need a bit more information. The easiest way to get the information would be to send me a picture of the axle tag, as long as it's still attached a legible. That tag contains all the key details I'll need.
Another option you can contact Dexter directly and provide them with the axle number. They can usually send you a full build sheet with all the specifications. If you receive that, feel free to forward it to me, and I’ll take it from there.
The last option would be to measure the axle yourself, which may be difficult since it sounds like it's in pretty rough shape. I'll include a link to our FAQ that walks you though how to measure your axle. I also tossed in a few pictures of where to measure too. Hopefully you won't have to go this route.
