How Much Space Do I Need Between a Awning and the Door Frame to Install a MORryde Safe-T-Rail?

Updated 08/11/2025 | Published 08/06/2025

Question:

What is the minimum width that is required to install this. I have 3-1/2inch between my entry door frame and my awning. Is this enough room to install this product?

Hey Brian. You need at least 2-1/2" between your awning and the door frame to install the MORryde Safe-T-Rail Telescoping RV Hand Rail item # MR54BR. You'll be good with a 3-1/2" gap.

What kind of trailer do you have?
