I watched a video from morryde for my rv and it recommended this handrail. So I ordered it and drilled my holes and come to find out it was too short. I know it was my fault for not checking before I drilled but I got what they recommended. Steps are great
OEM hand rail laid over door handle and I couldn’t install an electronic door lock. This solved the problem except I had to use both upper frame parts to cover the holes left by the OEM hand rail.
This is pretty good build quality. There are a few sharp edges in non-functional areas. The mounting brackets are a little bit confusing too as the top bracket has two options and our independent of the main mounting bracket.

I bought the shorter version, because we have the 3 step stairs and it worked out perfect for us
Really nice product. Works like I need it to. No instructions in the box, had to look online.
Just the ticket so that my wife feels more secure entering and exiting our pop-up truck camper.
It worked fine even though I have folding steps makes it a little harder

Very easy to install and my wife is very happy with it.
Works as expected. Poor instructions. Lower bolt was loose and the head was stripped out. I was able to fix it, but it added a lot of time to the installation.

That’s a clever solution, nice work figuring that out. Sounds like that OEM handrail was getting in the way more than helping, especially with adding the electronic lock. Using both upper frame pieces to clean up those old mounting holes is a great call, it looks better and keeps everything sealed up. Glad to hear this one solved the problem for you. What kind of RV are you running it on?
